We are looking for a solution that can induce the desired ductility levels in less than 2 days instead of 10 to 15 days.
Ductility plays an important role in cold drawing of steel wire rods. To achieve better ductility, the wire rod coils are stored for long durations (10 to 15 days) depending on the wire rod diameter. During this period the wire rods achieve the required ductility suitable for cold drawing.
This process of aging (15-20 days) wire rod, requires a huge storage space depending on the production capacity of the plant. Furthermore, logistics becomes increasingly difficult as more and more coils pile up.
We are looking for a solution that can help the wire rods attain the desired ductility levels in less than 2 days instead of 10 to 15 days. This will help solve the problem of in-house storage and logistics to a great extent.
